Lorraine has been hairdressing for 30 years, working with Goldwell products for the last 10 years. Her hairdressing career has taken her all the way through from stylist, to salon owner and freelance educator. Lorraine is a Goldwell Master Colourist and does freelance work for Goldwell occasionally, going out and teaching other stylists salon techniques and new products. While Lorraine loves all aspects of hairdressing, she especially enjoys creating short styles and colouring. Creating the perfect style for clients face shapes comes easily to her and adding colour embellishes the style. Outside the salon Lorraine loves to be creative, she attends an Art class, enjoys craft activities and loves to cook for friends and family.
Melissa has been in the Hairdressing Industry for 17 years, she is the salon Manager and senior stylist. Melissa is extremely proud of becoming a KMS Style Ambassador in 2021 where her love for hair care and styling has lead her to experience exciting things. She was able to work alongside Simon Webster at London Fashion Week, and this was a real highlight in her career so far. Melissa has also been able to support KMS with the launch of the ‘Conscious Style Range’ at the Goldwell Academy in London. Her passion for bespoke colouring and styling hair has gained her the title of Styling Specialist in the salon, you can check out her work on Insagram Melissawheeler_hair Melissa says “Connecting with clients and making them feel good by boosting their confidence motivates me every day. I love learning new things and keeping my knowledge up to date.” When out of the salon Melissa loves to dance, jiving the night away or racing around on her motorbike. She has a quirky side to her and a fun personality, and loves all things vintage.
Tia has been a qualified hairdresser for 2 years now, and came to Dorrington hair for her work experience. After gaining her Level 2 qualification she has been working in the salon and is building her clientele. She is passionate about her work and says “I find pure joy in helping others feel and look their best. It is very important to me to make sure my clients can maintain the achieved look I have created at home. I love to recommend new ideas to help clients with styling and little tweaks to change up their style” Tia enjoys all aspects of hairdressing especially Highlighting and Balayage.
